Refund & Cancellation

The registration fee applicable at the time of registration will be displayed before payment. For the currently announced Glories of Vedic India festival, the special registration fee is ₹100 per participant.

Participants should verify their registration details before completing payment.

If a participant voluntarily cancels their registration, changes their plans, is unable to attend, arrives late, leaves early or does not attend the festival, the registration fee will generally not be refunded.

Registration fees may be used toward event preparation, venue arrangements, prasadam, participant materials and other organizational expenses incurred before the event.

If the same participant is accidentally charged more than once for the same registration, please contact IYF Wave City with the relevant payment and registration details.

After verification, a genuine duplicate or erroneous excess payment may be refunded to the original payment method, subject to payment gateway and banking processing timelines.

In some cases, a payment may appear to be deducted while the payment gateway or bank reports the transaction as failed or pending.

Participants should not immediately make repeated payments without checking the transaction status. Please contact the festival team with available payment details if assistance is required.

Failed or reversed transactions may be automatically returned by the bank or payment provider according to their applicable processing timelines.

IYF Wave City may reject or cancel a registration for legitimate reasons including duplicate or fraudulent registration, incorrect information, non-payment, eligibility issues, misconduct, safety concerns, capacity limitations or violation of festival requirements.

Where a registration is cancelled because of misconduct, false information, violation of event requirements or another reason attributable to the participant, a refund may not be provided, subject to applicable requirements.

If the entire festival is cancelled by the organizer and cannot reasonably be conducted or rescheduled, the organizer will communicate the applicable resolution to registered participants.

Where a refund is applicable, eligible payments will be processed to the original payment method, subject to payment gateway, banking and applicable processing requirements.

Any approved refund will ordinarily be initiated to the original payment method used for the transaction.

After a refund is initiated, the time required for the amount to appear in the participant's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other financial institution involved.

For a genuine duplicate payment, erroneous charge, payment-status issue or other payment-related concern, please contact the IYF Wave City team.
